Hey man: did you see I used the phrase “coronavirus panic” in place of “coronavirus” in re: “their new hoax”?

That one was for you! Pat yourself on the back. You influenced me.

I remain as always happy to humor you with another round of endless debate on this big ol’ distinction without a difference

You're looking at cases on a nominal basis, which is foolish. I know you already know this, which makes your post even more dishonest.

Eyy man, Trump’s the one who said 100,000 dead Americans would be “a great job,” not me

I wouldn’t ever utter those words myself

4 weeks ago, “15 cases in the whole country” was a great job, yesterday the hope is 100,000 dead... and in 4 more weeks, who knows?

Goalposts are shiftable

I know what he said, but it's clear the context fairy skipped your home as a child. A death number doesn't tell even half the story. How many projected infections is the number based on. If it's 100,000,000 infections then it's a 1% death rate at 100,000 deaths.

Further, he didn't "admit at least 100,000 people will die". They gave a projection based on what the models show, but it's a fluid number.

Children such as yourself should avoid the news, because your not mentally mature enough to process the information in a rational manner.

Epidemiologists have predicted as much as 2.2 million American deaths as the worst-case. Who knows? It’s all projections.

I just rolled with Trump’s own projection in the hopes that it’d carry some weight with you guys.

But the only thing we really know for certain about this is that none of this is Trump’s fault and his leadership will be brilliant whatever happens.

The model you are highlighting assumes no MITIGATION. Multiple people have called his numbers into question based on the model assumptions. The author of that report recently walked back his own number saying it's not likely.

I read Neil Ferguson walked it back. I also read different sources saying that what others were calling a walk-back of his initial projection was not truly a walk-back.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/reason.com/2020/03/27/no-british-epidemiologist-neil-ferguson-has-not-drastically-downgraded-his-worst-case-projection-of-covid-19-deaths/%3famp

(Reason.com — that infamous Left-wing rag!)

As I said, that’s the “worst-case” projection I’ve seen. Worst cases are unlikely. Unlikely doesn’t mean impossible.

Ferguson Original Quote: Hospital ICU beds will be over run.

Ferguson Updated: I know feel reasonably confident our healthcare system can handle the outbreak

That's. A. Walk. Back.

You will find those same epidemiologists revised those same numbers a week ago more than drastically.

Oxford just released a report indicating that a significant number of Americans may already have developed an immunity to COVID-19. This is playing out in the data released daily. The predictions are proving to be inaccurate - by a wide margin.

Would you care to explain how other people committing crimes is Trumps fault?
Would you care to explain how the virus fueled stock market losses is Trumps fault?
Would you care to explain how the media hoax blaming covid-19 on Trump isn't a hoax?

When Trump was stopping travel to/from China - he was called a racist and ridiculed for overreacting. Now those same people are saying that he underreacted.

You seem to want to blame everything on Trump, and conveniently forget how virtually all media attacks him daily - even during a crisis, they can't be bothered to do the right thing - because they're too busy attacking him.

Nothing is Trump's fault, you're right

He bears no responsibility for any aspect of our country's coronavirus response

While Pelosi was handing out impeachment pens in January, Trump created the Coronavirus Task Force.

Look it up yourself, January 29, 2020

At that time, the world was still looking at the data coming out of China as if it was accurate. Two days later, it was determined that they were downplaying the threat and Trump issued a travel ban to and from China. What did the media and Democrats do? They called him a racist, and said he was overreacting.

He shut down travel to Europe, and what did the media and Democrats do? They called him a racist and said he was overreacting.

Now, all of the sudden, their tune has changed and they think he under-reacted. Maybe they should have been paying attention in January, February, and March instead of telling people there was no problem and that people should visit Chinatown and take the subway, go out to eat....
