You don't have to like everybody to lead them. Leaders have to rise above their feelings. That's why we don't allow children to become president.

"You need to treat them equally"...Yeah, sure calling half the country deplorable because they don't agree with you sure sounds like equal.

No more talking, Larry

Good. Then you will stop lying about the deplorable comment. Frankly, most Americans do find racists to be deplorable. Some others find excuses for them. I am glad I'm on the side that disapproves of them.

Bahahha....accuses a person of lying when there is video of Clinton calling Trump supporters, which is half the country deplorables. Then you try to explain away the comment by claiming Trump supporters are racist so it's okay to call them deplorable.

This equal treatment thing seems to evade you.

Watch the video. She lists racists, xenophobes, Islamaphobes and sexists specifically as "half of Trump supporters, not "half of the country," as per your wrote. So, that statement by you is untrue. Untrue statements are, in fact, lies. Calling a racist, or a sexist, or a xenophobe or an Islamophobe is one thing. Refusing to give them equal treeatment is another. I can find quotes by Trump saying he does not give equal treatment to people who don't flatter him or act nice. Find such a quote from someone on this side of the aisle. I liked it better when you said something about "no more talking." They must pay you a lot to be this obtuse. I can't believe it comes naturally.

Bahahha...oh i get it now, calling half the country deplorable is over the line, but claiming 1/4 of the country is deplorable is cool. Again this equal treatment thing is evading you. No, half of trump supporters are not racist or xenophobic. There is no data to support the claim.

So again, no more talking for you, dumb dumb.

According to a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll Trump's base is about 24% of Registered Voters. About 250-million Americans are voting age, but only about 55% of them are registered to vote. So, 24% of 55% of registered voters are Trump's base. That would be about 14% of the total population. Half of that would be the population Clinton referred to, about 7% of Americans. Look up racism in America and see what percent of us are considered to be in that group. You will find that 7% is within the margin of error. So, she did not ever refer to "half of the country," as being deplorable. She referred to half of his base, which is easily supportable by the facts that are available about racism in America. And, when you add the sexists, xenophobes and Islamophobes who are distinct from racists, her numbers are right on. Incorrectly saying that she referred to "half of America," as deplorable, when the facts prove that to be untrue, is a LIE. Of course, I am not suprised that you continue to spread that lie. Because, after all you are a liar.

She referred to Trump supporters. You can clearly see from the vote split in the 2016 election that approximately half the country voted for Trump. That is the definition of a supporter, who they vote for, not what registers in a poll.

The quote was made in September 2016, well before the election. So, no matter how you twist the truth, she could not have been making a refereice to a number that did not exist at the time. And the exact quote, which you have avoided reading, is, “You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables." She went on to list racists, sexists, kenophobes and Islamophobes. At the time this statement was made, it was not clear that Trump would get all Republicans to vote for him. So, there is no way to make the untrue statement that she was calling half of America deplorable. Besides, she is not president, Trump is. It would be more fair to compare how President Obama treated Texas when they were faced with a possible Ebola outbreak. Tell me the number of times Obama downplayed the potential threat of an outbreak and told Republican dominated Texas that they were on their own.

The quote was made before the election by about a month. So let's not pretend that is "well before the election". By this point there were only two candidates.

Again she called half of trump supporters deplorables. Since half the country supported him, she called one quarter of the country deplorable. It doesn't matter that "she didn't know how many people supported Trump" when she said it.

Again your words are "being president is like being a parent, you will not always be happy with all your children or all your citizens...but while they are your responsibility, you need to treat them equally and fairly, no MATTER HOW FEEL ABOUT THEM." Clearly, you don't expect Hillary to live up to this standard and in fact you are here defending the very behavior you are accusing Trump of.

"Tell me the number of times Obama downplayed the potential threat of an outbreak"...okay, Obama downplayed the swine flu outbreak. In April of 2009, Obama said "swine flu was no cause for alarm". Then more than 60million Americans became infected with the desease, hundreds of thousands were hospitalized and the death toll topped 12,000
