How is that false equivalency. If you remove the person, then no one gets killed. Its completely equivalent. Remove the people and no one dies of the virus.
If we weaponized the virus (like neo-Nazis are talking about doing) and use it to kill people then I guess your argument would make sense. But as far as we know, the virus is killing people all on its own.
