For his actions as a corrupt VP. For actually doing what Trump was impeached for. The way he gropes women, this wouldn't surprise me but he should be investigated.

Are you sure he didn't seem republican because the democrats have gone so far left now? I know Starr took his time but Clinton didn't have to deal with half of what Trump's going through. Even with all 3 branches Trump couldn't get what he wanted done. I fail to see that happening with the dems. Which is a political strength. The entire MSM and hollywood bashing him daily.

I'm talking about even BEFORE Clinton ran but after the '88 DNC Convention intro to the rest of America, when people had dubbed him a Republican in disguise. The 1990s DID happen, and to many, Bill isn't just Hillary's hubby. He existed PRIOR to the the Great Meme Wars that began in 2016. His "Don't twist my arm. I'll sign it" approach to Repub legislation did nothing to dilute that image.
Since you don't recall this, safe to say comparison to Trump is nil. Sheesh, Bill got impeached because he fibbed about cheating on his wife. That and Newt's other moves (gov't shutdown, etc) ended up backfiring and costing him his own seat.

If Trump couldn't get his own party who had control of both Houses for 2 years, you can't really blame the Dems, which, for the nth time, have at times been more eager to work with Trump than the Repubs, ie $1.65 billion for the Mexico paid wall, Schumer's suddenly caving in with their own 2 day gov't shutdown over DACA, the tax cut, the 2 trillion Socialism rescue of 'Murica for a mere 2 weeks of bad economy (how much for next month, eh?), and NAFTA Mach II, to which Trump rubbed his teeny testes in Pelosi's face after she gushed about what a wonderful bipartisan effort it was.

Seems to me the Dems have been moving to the right since the 80s and the Reps have been moving further right in response. Only since trump have the Dems started to move back left, imho.

Can't disagree with that. I'm not slamming Biden for this as I have no idea. And yes, I admitted the dems have more unity within their party. And with Bill, while not the most important issue to impeach a president over, he did get impeached for perjury, which he did commit, yet he got off on. In more ways than one.

The Dems seem far more fractured than the monolithic Repubs, at least around the edges. When's that last time you heard any of them getting called out and bashed for not voting with the herd? On this site it's cries of treason.

Bill's perjury was him lying about cheating. He didn't even get impeached for abusing his office when he took liberties with Monica. Same as with Trump's, it was a fake impeachment, designed to make noise and leave it at that. Hell, how many of them were cheating themselves like Newt was? They would have all walked themselves off the plank.
