The amendment would "require a social security number for purposes of the child tax credit, and to provide the President the authority to transfer funds as necessary, and to terminate United States military operations and reconstruction activities in Afghanistan."
I don't have a problem with any of that.
People with no SSN have no business receiving tax credits meant for citizens. Why shouldn't he be allowed to transfer funds during a crisis expiring with the legislation? And Afghanistan has gone on long enough. If they want to be cavemen, let them.
