No. Moronic Congressmen have voted for those entitlements and tax cuts. Most of the debt has been accrued in the past 11 years, eight of which under your Saviors regime.

National Debt U.S. by President | image tagged in national debt us by president | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
"The past 11 years" is a clever timeframe to choose as it excludes all the debt accrued under G.W. Bush and obscures the fact Trump has done nothing to stop the growth either

Also: Obama had to fight a recession that Bush left him saddled with; Bush and Trump spent freely even in good economic times when the debt should have been paid down

Republicans are supposed to be the party of fiscal responsibility

They sure do talk a big game on that subject when they are out of power

As I said, "most". Thanks for the graph that proves my point perfectly!
Trump had to fix all that Obama broke.

Your statements are true as far as they go within the limited frame of reference you have chosen

Obama had to fix what Bush broke

And Bush didn’t have to fix shit — Clinton left him a balanced budget

yeeaaahhh...we could go all the way back to Chester A Arthur with this silly argument...
the point remains...Asked to forgo bar-hopping and spring-breaking, today's yout seem to have collectively thumbed their noses at the suggestion and are getting shit-faced on the beach as I type these humble words.

The virus just isn’t that dangerous to young people, or middle-aged people, honestly

I think from the beginning this response should have been focused on protecting the most at-risk populations rather than shutting down all of society

Well, that just shows that you haven't been listening to the CDC and the medical professionals.

Even though they are at less risk of contracting the virus, they can still carry it and infect others when they come back from spring break.

I’ve read the CDC’s advice.

I’ve also seen the stock market plunge and read economists’ projections that the clampdown could cost us the loss of a million jobs in March alone, and over 3 million if we go into a full recession.

I think we may have tipped too far in the direction of caution.

In responding to this, we have to consider what’s best for all of society.
