That’s not the most persuasive argument, as Trump is the most divisive political figure in modern history (see: his treatment of anyone who opposes him, including members of his own party). He only seems interested in unification *under him*, something Republicans have been bullied into at present.

The republicans haven’t been bullied into anything. In our two-party system, it makes more sense to unify, which, yeah isn’t exactly ideal democracy.
