DON'T BELIEVE THE LIBERAL MEDIA!

You think about it- of course it makes sense. Simple fact: if it were a Democrat in the White House, the lapdog liberal media would be trying to protect him, and there would not be nearly the media-caused virus panic. Just the usual liberal media bias...like when they covered-up the 8-year crime-wave known as the Obama administration.

First of all, your accusation toward a democrat in the white house, being protected in a crisis like this, can only come from a Trump-groupie blinded to the truth. Second, both countries with liberal and conservative or even governments of different kinds suffer under all this. When it comes to biased media all I can say is the guilty pot calling the innocent kettle black. And I believe nothing CNN tells me, since CNN doesn't tell me anything at all, nor does NBC, ABC, CBS , and the other groups you name (I never watch them).
And panic over the corona-virus is more and more the stupidity of people in general, regardless of their political colors. Humans are stupid beings, after all. What is true is that politics and media were not really helpful in calming things down, but that goes actually for all media and polical party world-wide, leftists, rightists, liberals, socialists, conservatives, social-democrats, American, Asian, European.... ALL were equally guilty in not adequately responding to the panic.

I even refuse to call your post an accusation. It's just a shameless profiling over the back of other people's sufferings, and deaths, with statements that are not even lies, but completely fabricated. I can't deny that this crisis does come at a terrible moment for Trump, as the elections are coming up, but then again, the Democrats may suffer under this in their campaign to get a democrat in the white house, as well.

Ok,good argument I must say.You are not a stupid man , and you make some valid points.But c'mon now, anyone with half a brain must be aware of the incredible media bias we have in America that is greatly increasing panic & fear at every opportunity. Certainly you are aware that we have had many epidemics and crisises in the past that were far worse than this one, yet the media wasn't nearly as alarmist. Why the big (panic) difference now? Simple: I would suggest it's because Donald Trump is president.

I do not believe in 100% unbiased media, and I cannot even deny that if there's one country on the brink in being split in two in the "liberal vs conservative" kind of polarization, it's the US, so yeah, it's hard for the media not to pick sides now.

Now when it comes in blaming Trump in the case of the coronavirus, I would not blame him for the virus itself, if I were now campaigning for the democrats and against Trump. I would rather blame him for some measures that won't help against it and will damage the world economy and the US economy with it greatly, like the travel to the US from the EU measure, since scientist already confirmed the virus already made it into the US and that most infections come from American to American, so any Europeans being in the US now will not really contribute anymore and only kill the economy. If the democrats want a weapon against Trump that's it.

Now I must say that Trump is NOT the only idiot when it comes to the corona virus, as I heard the speech of president Emanuel Macron of France yesterday which was even more idiotic than I ever heard from Trump. Now Macron is not a liberal, but a moderate-leftist and progressive politician, which is something both liberals and Trump are horrified by. No he's not a socialist, but still much of the opposite of Trump. France will be locked down entirely even to the point that it becomes a kind of North-Korea II. The consequences of Macro's actions may only be less devastating for the wrold because France is a smaller country than the US, but that may be the ONLY reason.

I won't make it a secret that I am not a fan of Donald Trump, and that if I must chose between Trump and Macron, I'd normally go for Macron, but this measure of Macron's... I'm glad I don't live in France.

Now I am not from the US myself... I am Dutch and my government is most of all neo-liberal now in a coalition with two Christian-Democrat parties and the progressive party, and I gotta say that they left the Dutch people in confusion for a long time, and the news here was also filled with bullshit for months. Yesterday our prime minister FINALLY gave a speech and finally the Dutch strategy for the "war against corona" is clear and makes sense. And I thought.... IT'S ABOUT TIME. (The last time the Dutch prime minister gave a speech like that was because of the oil boycott in the 1970s, so you can imagine people were a bit surprised by this).

There's 2 things in this world I can't stand- 1: intolerant people, and 2: the Dutch! - LOL, just kidding, 🤣 No, you're ok with me Joroen.
