No, not a crime and especially not a felony. Felonies should be reserved for causes worthy of spending taxpayer dollars on. Point the punishment at both the individual and their parent, that's what I think. Bullies have been around long as history, they aren't going anywhere. Given that, I think it is up to the individual to either react to them and dignify their behavior (wrong answer) or ignore and/or report them accordingly (right answer). The bullies I've dealt with in the past didnt get the time of day from me. If I gave them time of day and they still didnt respect me, or disrespected someone I loved, I did something about it. Only twice did I resort to violence, and only one of those times did i lash out first but it was because i was cornered. The other was a time when i was among friends and i said something defiant that the bully thought i shouldn't have, and they struck me so when i fought back i was not only justified but had plenty of help to put them in their place.

I do not think that "in person bullying" (which I think means self bullying) should be a crime because that would mean that people would just be obsessed over getting them arrested, when really what they need is to go to a mental health hospital or at least get a therapist. It is never ok to bullying yourself just how it isn't ok to bully others, but these people need help, not another problem.

About time someone came to agree with me (you're the only one here who agrees). But, what do you think the punishment should be?

Have someone bully them (the same level of seriousness that they did) so they know how it feels

Yeah, good idea. If it don't work, the next thing I'd suggest is to get sentenced to 10,000 hours of community service. If that doesn't work either, that's when he/she may go to jail or prison.

Yeah or something for the community and the guy that's being bullied should get free therapy

Yep, the bullied person gets the free therapy to get rid of the trauma he/she been through with being bullied. *Meanwhile, the bully's inmate asked him/her what he/she is in for*

Now, I can imagine what would happen to the bully in a prison cell (probably best not to say it)

But what if the bully still doesn't think about what he/she had done, while in prison, will he/she has to get life without parole?

(I wish the site would fix this reply filter problem) This world needs less bullies, more friends. But sadly, some people can be pure jerks.

*switches topics* btw, I hit my own record of pulling a all-nighter for 2 days straight because of my test is more huge than other tests I'd taken (it has 120 questions and that's not fun). Normally, I'll pull an all-nighter for just one night because a normal test would only have 20-30 questions, but since it's a huge test, I'll have a cramming session that's going to be longer than just one night, cramming until Friday. Cramming like never before :'(

And when my friends in real life found out about it, they worried about me pushing myself too hard (all because of a long, complicated test)
