Birth. I've told you this before. The line is at birth.

The line is at birth today. The line keeps moving. Pretty soon it will be so many days after birth to give the mother time to decided weather or not to raise her child.

What's the point in asking where the line is if no matter what we answer, we're just going to be told "yeah but you're going to change it?"

The point is, we don’t draw a line at all. The “line” keeps changing.

I've never changed my answer. People have been drawing the line at birth for thousands of years. You're the only person telling me that the line has changed and therefore there is no line at all.

So what was the point in asking people if you've no intention in incorporating their answer into the argument?

People drew the line at “not at all” for thousands of years. It’s only recently that killing unborn babies as a form of birth control has become acceptable in society. Even then, it used to only be acceptable before certain trimesters. Now, in some states, it’s legal up until the the baby leaves the womb.

Not at all. Ancient societies had all kinds of methods for terminating pregnancies since forever. It's even in the original Hypocratic Oath - and even though that was anti-abortion, my point is it's evidence that there were people in Ancient Greece who practiced it.

There’s a difference between people practicing it and it being acceptable practice by society.

Especially if you straight up ignore the many societies throughout history that accepted it.

Oh God, where to begin? Ancient Egypt, Ancient Assyria, Ancient India, Feudal Japan, Ancient Cambodia, pre-colonial Maori, Classical Greece, Classical Rome, Aristotle and the Stoicist philosophers taught that abortion was not murder, Exodus 21:22-24 was used by early Christians to claim that Christians could have abortions, all the way through Victorian Britain and Civil War America - pretty much every society! That's what I'm saying.

It will be practiced regardless so it's obviously better if someone is able to have one by a professional and in a safe environment.

We’re talking about at what point in the pregnancy society deems abortion is acceptable as a form of birth control.

I'm aware; my point is still relevant.

Life begins at conception. Science is settled.
