I think that it wouldn't matter if God was a woman.
But I do believe that God is a man,because:
1.We pray to God,not Goddess
2.it's been he for LITERALLY all of time,why change it?

I think that God is neither a he, nor a she, but just a being. Humans call God "he" just because it's easier for our mind to think of God in a human form. I think God has been known as a he for basically eternity because people seem to think that men are superior or whatever.

I'm pretty sure they may be a genderless dienty, just like Arceus from the Pokemon games,manga and anime. (That's literally what Pokemon started off as anyways)
