the people elected Hillary.

No, they did not. They elected Donald Trump. You see, since we are constitutional republic we don't do the whole majority rules. And thank God we don't, since if we did only a few major cities would choose the president.

The fact there are idiots out there who think abolishing the electoral college would be a good thing, is sad and just confusing. All votes are supposed to count, not just a few cities or a couple states. It doesn't work that way, so yes, the people elected Donald Trump and he wasn't voted in illegally. What the Democrats are doing is illegal and yet you sit there and defend them and their actions.

Captain Kirk Spock | WHAT DOES HE MEAN? HE'S SAYING THE VOTES OF THE FEW OUTWEIGH THE VOTES OF THE MANY. | image tagged in captain kirk spock | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
yes those city voters aren't as important as the rural voters, so their votes shouldn't count as much. gotcha.

You have no grasp on what it means and how it works, obviously. Did you skip civics class? Or are they teaching bullshit in schools these days?

"My ideas" aren't my ideas genius. It's been our system for over two hundred years. It's worked well and is the best system for counting every vote and making it mean something. Apparently, not something you could understand or come close to understanding.

In all but 2 States, it's winner take all, awarding votes to the winning candidate that were inteneded by voters for others. Thus the EC nulls other voices WITHIN States, and rewards the winner for it.

I also asked you, what are these things these 'other' people want that is so different than those in major cities do?
1 up, 6y,

Lies. It is impossible for you to"thoroughly explain how the EC screws voter within states".
The EC protects those voters in rural area from being dominated by voters in the larger populated cities. You seem to forget that we are not a democracy, we are a Constitutional Republic. We do not govern by mob-rule.

Whats really ironic is that you have a millionaire, who owns more homes than 98% of the rest of us, who cries "foul", after winning the primary in certain states where delegates are shared among some of the also-rans, crying, "Not fair, I worked for those votes, I shouldn't have to share them"

Right away with the insult, eh? Rather than actually defend your position, you resort to ad hominem insults.
Okay fine...I didn't want to do this here, but since you always seem to leave a final comment that only allow a "flag" but no "reply" here goes:
What did you do, spend all day researching the history of Robert Smith. Who gives a shit. Your comment may be right, as far as it goes... It is besides the point. Unless your point is to prove that you are a Post-Punk groupie. Me, I just listened to the Cure. I mean, who uses phrases like "The Cure started out as Punk band...one of a bunch that sprouted in the wake of the Ramones's..."except perhaps Korey Grow or Rob Sheffield.

Now, what I find most interesting is this :"I bought Joy Division's Unknown Pleasures direct from Rough Trade's USA mailorder outlet in '79 when Curtis was still alive, and the Cure's 2nd and Siouxsie's JuJu..."
If I did my math right, and I did... that was 41 years ago. Now, if I am generous, and I am...if I allow for you being at least 14 years old in 1979, why? that would make you at least 55-I repeat, FIFTY-FIVE, years old. 55...and you have the temerity make fun of my age, Gramps.
You are a fraud.

Ooh, a whole lot of tl;dr you posted there.

But since you are a bit on the 'simple side,' I'll repost what I said in a pretty meme, with some minor alterations because I had rushed the other.

yeahhhh...sure, whatever. We all know you read it. Besides, what are you complaining about....you aren't known for your brevity, nor your wit. You are known as a trolling poltroon. And as a liar, Grampa Fool.
Remember back when you used the old lady at the keyboard meme? Do you remember my response?? Good! How could I know that I wasn't that far from the truth? hah-hah
And you have the gall to age-shame me...what a hoot.

Here's a pretty(old) one for you, too. Enjoy!!

If you were to pay attention - and clearly you do not - I tend to not read past the first half line of certain repititious dolts (like yourself) on account of that it's, well, repititious, and it gets boring a lot, especially when it comes from an idiot (like yourself).

Plus you're pretending to argue against basic fact, and that also merits no reason to read further, just press your buttons so you can troll yourself.

Of course you'll forget this because you're senile and stupid.

Yes, you do, and yes you did. You are too vain not to. Every one knows you are a liar. A fraud.
What's the matter, Vag? (you don't mind if I call you Vag, do you? No? Good!) Did you pound your new "gran-friend" so much today that she sprung a leak?

Oh no, the senile old coot shortened muh name (probably on account of his Alzheimer's. Drats, why couldn't my folks name me something different, like MaryDrumpfster (see what I did there?) or something.

I'm not the one who is bringing that crap up. You mention him tweeting and golfing as if he's wrong for doing it, not me. I didn't even care when Obama did it....and he did it a lot. The golfing, I mean.
0 ups, 6y
Trump AND his base did ridicule Obama for golfing, to which Trump promised he would not do.

Questions:
How many times more than Obama has Trump golfed so far?
How much did Obama Tweet (remember Blueberrygate?) like never?
How much money is spent per golf trip, most at HIS own golf resorts (HINT: no free admissions for Secret Service & staff)?

And Trump tweeting is actually his way to bypass the lying media and talk directly to the people. But according to you, that's wrong.

by Trump by-passing the media, he can tell his own lies with maximal efficiency. you see that there are two 'sides' to this argument: 'Trump lies!' and 'MSM lies!' now i would say both sides lie and always have. but MSM is not setting gov't policies directly, so I'm more worried about Trump's lies.
[deleted]
3 ups, 6y
Well, unless you have actual evidence of these lies, I wouldn't be so quick to make assumptions. It's based on your opinion and your opinion only. I admit he embellishes sometimes, like rounding a number up from 6.7 million to 7 million, etc. But outright lying, he isn't doing.

But I suppose we'll never agree on this, we both have our opinions.
0 ups, 6y
Tweeting to rail nonsense propaganda at his percieved 'enemies' is not news.
If you believe this to be incorrect, feel free to post a sample or two of this news refutting 'truth'
