When I go to delete a template, there is a blue UPDATE button, but no DELETE button! What gives??

Because they are so widely used on Imgflip they are now memes.

"You know, I'm something of a scientist myself" is my most popular template and there it no delete button for me.

If you really want it out of your My Templates list, you can try using the feedback form or if you don't want anyone using it anymore try the Request Image Removal form.
