I know enough to get by,but most of my understanding is informed by my knowledge of history and politics,which IS my wheelhouse.
this fairly new (historically speaking,and not really new) rise of democratic socialism,both right and left populism,and rightwing authoritarianism,all manifesting globally.is not a surprise and has been predicted by historians and political theorists for decades.
