eyyy japan are doing better than us thanks to their modern railroads. but whatever; trains are antiquated i guess.

not to mention, americans deserve better than what they currently have for long-distance transportation:

cars - 5 hours of sitting behind a wheel getting cramps and being stuck in endless traffic with no escape. at least it's freedom on wheels! ...unless you're without a driver's license

airplanes - 3 hours of waiting around in an airport for your fourth amendment rights to be violated. thanks 9/11! oh yeah. sitting on an airplane is like being in a kid's play area in Chick fil a.

Trains - have neither of those drawbacks. arrive 30 minutes early to the station, check the schedule, and bypass all the traffic over 100 mph. honestly the trains in america need upgrades, expansions, and lower prices. than the problems are mostly fixed.
