The underlying science is still valid even if specific predictions about what exactly will happen, when, and where didn’t come true (or just haven’t come true yet).

I’m pretty sure a lot of these alleged “predictions” are just made up out of whole cloth, and a lot of them don’t even have anything to do with climate change

But if you don’t like climate scientists, fine. Go talk to the farmers, ranchers, wine-makers and those in other industries whose livelihoods depend on staying closely in touch with nature

They’ll tell you what’s up

As for your chart: There’s no theory linking motorcycle deaths to sour cream, nor could there be, unless you’d like to attempt one right here and now

There *is* a theory linking increased concentration of greenhouse gases to global warming.

Even the word “theory” is putting it lightly at this point. There’s direct evidence. And what is that evidence?

The headline about the “120 arsonists,” or whatever number it was, concerned citations in New South Wales — that was just one territory.

These fires were all over the continent. And in outlying islands and Tasmania. Do you think they flew around the whole country just to watch the world burn?

The reason the fires were particularly bad because Australia had just had its hottest *and* driest year ever.

Hottest. And. Driest. Those things don’t necessarily go together — its possible to have more rain in warmer weather — but when they do go together, you get this.

Not because the 2019 (alleged) arsonists were worse than 2018 arsonists.
