if you poll everyone at the same table in a bar, you get an agreement you would not get if you asked a varied population of people within a region or state. Which poll are you referring to?

Unless you're talking about New Jersey, hell is a concept that is well understood as a possible AFTER-life. And no, I'd like to believe something like reincarnation....but who really knows.

I have faith, but not in organized religion. That's a system of control I was trapped in until the absurdity of it woke me up. I found myself surrounded by wicked people who were praised as righteous.... It was then that I understood that organized religion was a hiding place for the worst people. Not that they were all bad, just that they found a place to hide...a place that would protect them.

Anyway, I only meant to point out the inconsistency in your "burning alive" statement....that if you're in hell, you aren't alive anymore.
