The U.N. isn’t perfect by any stretch, but the main problem with these U.N. peacekeeping missions is they get thrown into conflicts that they’re just totally unequipped to solve
The U.N. couldn’t be the world’s police force even if they tried.
The issue here is that countries have a responsibility to protect their own citizens and they can’t shirk that duty by relying on the Blue helmets, or certainly actively opposing them which sometimes happens as well
