Impeachment

Donald J. Trump was found innocent of all charges.
Bill Clinton was guilty of lying to Congress.
Donald Trump is NOT impeached whereas Clinton WAS for THIS REASON!

Both were impeached.
Both were not removed from office.
People here seem to be confused about that.

One* was impeached. It's you who is confused.
Clinton & only Clinton was impeached & with an actual criminal charge.
Trump was AQUITTED*
The house pushed to impeach, the Senate ruled to aquit of both absurd articles of impeachment.

Both were impeached, both were acquitted, and therefore both were not removed from office.

Being "impeached" is similar to being "indicted".. meaning charges have formally been brought against you. The House Democrats knew going in that they would never have 2/3 majority of votes in the Senate to "convict" Trump .. but they didn't need the Senate to "impeach him". They just needed a simple majority of votes in the House.. which they had.
