A few things Ken Starr 2020 did a total 180 on:
—Now says impeachment is overused in the modern era
—Now says process crimes are not actual crimes
—Now says Congress was right in not following his recommendations in ‘98
—Had nothing to say about Trump not testifying, when his entire case against Clinton was built upon Clinton’s perjury in a deposition
Of all the spineless GOP figures in this disgusting joke of an impeachment “trial,” Starr might take the cake.
To his credit, Starr is at least an obviously paid partisan hack while Sen. McConnell (in theory) has taken an oath to uphold the Constitution and be a fair and impartial juror and is the main person responsible for the fundamental flaw in this trial: no new witnesses or evidence.
