No more Mario or Fire emblem characters in smash!

A good idea. In fact, if I were to make a Smash game, I would remove several of the existing fighters, particularly Lucina and Chrom (although Lucina would become a Marth alt costume similarly to Alph or the Koopalings) from Fire Emblem and Daisy and Piranha Plant from Super Mario (though Daisy would receive the same treatment as Lucina).

The idea with doing that would be to make room for more fighters, since including FP2, Smash Ultimate has a whopping 81 characters in it, and that’s a hell of a lot.

Plus, Chrom since he has Ike Up-B but Roy everything else, couldn’t really be an alt of anyone either.

Hey, fire emblem is extremely popular in the east, just like pokemon is extremely popular pretty much everywhere. That's why fire emblem and pokemon have the 2nd and 3rd most fighters in the game. Mario has most because it is mario.
