Bloomberg is NOT pledging his own wealth. He is pledging TAXPAYERS' money to finance his agenda. It started out with the war on poverty. The program was established to help, primarily, poor black families so that they would have the ability to succeed. Unfortunately, It had the opposite effect. Democrats are at a point , where they are pushing the chips all in. Unable to trust the community to help itself, the left flat out wants to give them money, houses, and businesses. The desperation that the party feels that they may lose votes has brought them to the point of literally offering bribes to them. The worst part of this, is that they know it will not have any meaningful impact. Success is derived through achievement, and work. Being given stuff rarely gets results.
