Female biology dictates that a lot of women are unable to know they're pregnant until they're at least that far into a pregnancy. When it comes to pregnancy tests: "You should wait until the week after your missed period for the most accurate result." https://www.healthline.com/health/pregnancy/five-signs-to-take-pregnancy-test
Even if they did, a ban as early as 6-7 weeks would leave only a tiny sliver of time for women to decide and act on it. And if there's something else going on in her life or any kind of wait at the abortion clinic? Forget about it. That's a flat-out undue burden under Planned Parenthood v. Casey.
A fetus may have rights, but a woman has her own rights as well.
There is a big problem in telling women they: A. Can't control their own wombs, and B. Consigning them to raising a child that they may not be financially equipped or mentally or emotionally prepared for. Having a child is probably the single most significant decision a person can make in their entire lives.
Finally, labeling abortion as murder would as a practical matter necessarily result in imprisoning millions of women, many of them mothers already or planning to become mothers later.
No hysteria, just facts.
