A mass shooting is defined as a 2 or more death count. Think about that when you hear about how there are multiple mass shootings every week.

Jan 20 Kansas City shooting- 1 dead 15 wounded

Jan 19 San Antonio TX shooting- 2 dead 5 wounded

Jan 17 Grantsville UT shooting- Boy shot and killed 4 family members

how much coverage did any of these get? a few blurbs here and there. Not the wailing and crying about evil guns like they usually do.

I wouldn't have known about any of them had I not googled it... Course I don't regularly watch the news. I think to some degree the news/America is used to shootings now. Basically nobody wants their guns taken away and nutjobs keep shooting people almost on a daily basis just about anywhere until packin' citizens or the police are shooting the shooter... so we're kind of stuck.. reverting back to the wild west.

Last time I googled it someone here seemed to think Texas had less shootings... Less than a week prior 8 people had been shot at a party in TX.. And then at the vigil that was held for the people who had died at the party, shots rang out again. I couldn't believe it but at the same time I wasn't surprised.. idk
