Lots of people confuse weather and climate.

Lots of people are pretty stupid.

Think about how stupid the average person is, half are stupider than that.

Someone doesn't understand how averages work.

100,100,100,0 - the average is 75.

Bigger samples give less swing than small ones, so with a few trillion people, averages will be damn near the middle.

I mean, I know the difference, and I do believe that we are having an impact on the climate in some measurable way. But the hysterical nonsense the mainstream is spouting is not rooted in science.

In other words, climate change is measurably real, but not “end of the world, everyone eat some babies” real.

Reasonable. Though I have to admit I think eating babies is a modest proposal.

Is it though?

Think about it, babies aren’t a natural phenomenon that we can’t control. You put the lime in the coconut and it makes a baby. So why create actual babies to eat when we are intelligent enough to just create other forms of food?

And crisis or not, it would be murder. So not really a modest proposal. It is about as extreme as the hysteria in the news. Again, there are other less cannibalistic options.
