Here dumbass: The whole, "do US a favor" context was about asking the Ukraine to investigate corruption in general, because our country has been through a lot with the Mueller investigation, and he was asking the Ukraine to make sure that they were not surrounding themselves with corrupt individuals, because Ukrainian officials, possibly inadvertently, played a part in the Democratic collusion against the president.

Even IF he did mention withholding aid, the president is within his power and duty to do so if he feels that the country is corrupt and interfering with US sovereignty, and can withhold aid for any reason.

The only thing he said about Biden was in regards to his son and he said essentially, a lot of people are not sure about that he stop the prosecutor so any information you want to give our attorney general would be good, because it doesn't sound good to him.

Potential candidate's sons, and even potential candidates, or candidates themselves are not exempt from investigation by the attorney general just because they happen to be possibly running for office.

I read both parts of the transcripts in question, and I'm no lawyer, but I can tell you that if what the President did was impeachable, then we're going to have very short terms for President.

The, "do us a favor" part of the transcript was in regards to Ukrainian officials involvement in collusion against our sovereignty with the Democrats. Trump essentially said: Hey do us (The United States) a favor, let us know what happened with the entire situation in the Ukraine, because our country has been through a lot with the incompetent Mueller investigation, and make sure you're not surrounding yourself with corrupted individuals because we are concerned about that. If there's any information you can give our attorney general concerning corruption or collusion we would appreciate it.

The other so-called controversy has to do with the investigating of Biden's son, not Joe Biden specifically, who wasn't even a candidate at the time. He essentially said: Our previous ambassador was bad news, and we know she was dealing with people in the Ukraine who were also bad news. The other thing is a lot of people are asking about Biden's son, because we've heard that Joe Biden stopped the prosecutor. A lot of people are concerned about that, so whatever you can do with our attorney general would be great. It sounds horrible to me.

Folks that is not bribery, that is not quid pro quo. He's not trying to stop a candidate from becoming president. He doesn't even mention the aid, it was not withheld or even delayed. It arrived ahead of schedule. Even if he did withhold the aid and mentioned it in the transcript, the president has a duty to withhold aid for suspecting corruption. Every time we place sanctions on a country we're saying do this or you will not receive aid, what's the damn difference?

DIMS ARE THE JOKE!

Undersecretary of Defense for Policy John Rood "certified that the Government of Ukraine had taken substantial actions to make defense institutional reforms for the purposes of decreasing corruption [and] increasing accountability."... But the aid was blocked anyway 2 hrs after Trump's phone call.. coincidence for sure.
Besides his corruption excuse for blocking aid, Trump also stated it was to pressure Europe to give em more aid.. despite the EU paying more than us and Germany said Trump never even brought it up once.
And then the aid was released.. because Ukrainian corruption was solved no doubt.

Trump's story seems to really be falling apart here.. not that it matters. Trump's buddies in the Senate arent going to remove him.

Dude there's absolutely no evidence for this debunked conspiracy theory. It's not mentioned in the transcript at all. He can withhold aid for whatever reason he wants but there is no link to anything he talked about in the transcripts, NONE, I've read the transcript. The only vote on impeachment totally partisan but three Democrats voted against it after they heard the evidence, or lack thereof, and one even came over to our side because of it. Their rime witness the ambassador said nothing illegal happened here. Like I said even if it did happen it's not illegal, immoral, unconstitutional, you're just grasping at straws here.

Let's say he did talk do the president of the Ukraine, he said that there was also no pressure and he didn't even know about this, even if he did delay the aid directly because of these phone calls, he's the president, he can totally withhold aid for any reason, especially if he suspects corruption. Sanctions are no different, the president can place sanctions on a country for violating our national interests. That is literally withholding aid and support if they don't do what we want them to.

Not only was the aid not withheld but it wasn't even delayed. It arrived ahead of schedule dumbass. If you want to argue that he delayed the aid because of this phone call, fine, I'll give you that but, there is no link to the call. NONE! There is absolutely no link! The best you've got is it was a coincidence. It's not immoral, or illegal, or unconstitutional. The Dimokkkrats called this bribery. Where in the transcript did he put forward money in an attempt to win their favor? By the way if it were bribery that's exactly what Obama did with the Iranian situation when he went around Congress and put up 221 million dollars, plus several billion more and do his bidding. It didn't even go toward it was supposed to go towards. This is absolutely a nothingburger. Even if he did temporarily withhold Aid just because of these two phone calls, the idea that you would find that an impeachable offense is a joke. If withholding aid temporarily on the suspicion of corruption with a foreign power is impeachable offense then we're going to have very short terms for presidents because every president has done that that. He doesn't need Congressional approval either. This isn't Vig "abuse of power".

Apparently the GAO think his actions regarding the aid WERE illegal, he lied about it, he tried to get his greaseball lawyer involved instead of the proper authorities, it undermined Congress, and it was not in America's best interest, it was in his own interest. I also think it's interesting that after he asked Ukraine to dig up dirt on Biden, Russia hacked Burisma (the Biden company)..
