The way this is set up is simple.
you can battle the gyms in almost any order (almost)
you have to battle ALL the gyms with the Three pokemon before you can battle one with the Five pokemon. I will have a special prize for anyone who defeats the first four. (a raid battle [and a chance to catch the pokemon in the raid])
after you defeat the next four you can move on to the Elite Four. Defeat them you challenge me.
If you are being challenged you have to state the rules of the battle.
if you are a gym leader you can state the rules of the battle if they are different from a traditional RP pokemon battle.
