You know you have done a good job when you confuse even the people who are on your side as I read below. Good job.
Too misappropriated blame for me to fall for it.

I don't think they're too confused. Most of their memes are just quoting facts.

Yes, the reference point i make is into Ingersol's memes of which most are doing a good job at flying over the heads of those who believe in ACC and those who dont. Disagree, that's fine but reference can be seen on here, even Ingersol informs someone here that they may not be understanding his meme. So facts is facts hey!

There is a mindset on here in Imgflip that is most disturbing. It assumes anyone who is replying to your meme is disagreeing. While KylieFan may have assumed Ingersol was being serious, they are a person. Not people.

I am actually just creating these memes for use on twitter, which has a more sophisticated level of Climate Science Denial. Just as wrong, but more sophisticated. There are also a good number of science oriented commenters to expose the BS.

For that reason, these memes often depend on a certain level of familiarity with CSD arguments and or actual climate science. I prefer to argue from the scientific literature, but sometimes a pointy stick is just the right tool. Hence memes.

I like to throw some of them out on this forum just to see what happens.

I think they are great. As whatever an individuals interpretation of the Why of Climate Change it actually requires everyone to think about what has been presented. Therefore it engages thought at a higher level than just making a Yes it is or no it isn't because of...type of meme and then people put forward their fact? or whatevers. Confused intelligent people look for answers so they can reduce their dissonance I think. Keep them coming.

@IngersolRobert i shall take a look at sometime.

Here is a paper which directly proves AGW. Didn't really get much attention in the scientific community because they already knew it was true.

Here is Wally Broecker's 1975 paper where he used a simple zero dimension model to accurately predict the ext 40 years of global warming.

Thanks for those citations. The 1975 paper in particular is a powerful rebuttal to everyone who loves to ridicule the "ice age" predictions being made around that time.

Some scientists predicted an ice age. And they were wrong. Other scientists maintained global temperatures would continue to rise. And they were right.

Wally was one of the other two climatologists who met with LBJ in 1965 (the third was Charles Keeling) to warn him about the possible risks of AGW.

Global warming stalled around the 50's, 60's, and 70's, as this graph shows.

This was somewhat surprising, and some climate scientists at this time therefore predicted an ice age. Other climate scientists did not, and maintained that temperatures would again continue to rise.

Look at the rest of the chart -- which ones were right?

I guess so, there are way too many climate change deniers on ImgFlip so my sarcasm meter is broken

cheers
