Yes, it is gender dysphoria, but it doesn't mean you have to stay within the same part. The worst case scenario is constantly being trapped in an emotional limbo of being A but wanting to be B.

What if someone felt his head was alien to his body? Some people feel an arm, leg or hand is alien to their body. It is a disconnect in the brain. They often feel the same even if limb is removed. Then, they have ghost limb disorder. A lot of people who feel they have the wrong genitals, do not feel much relief after reassignment surgery. I think thorough treatment of the mind should be sought first before any drastic surgery is done. I think the medical community is providing a disservice deluding the patient into thinking all will be great just by changing out the parts.

I also recognize it as a disorder. A very sad one, indeed, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I just feel that the medical community is not going about the right treatment. I also believe some people are being too easily swayed into thinking they have the disorder when they really are only being enticed by the attention of fitting into one of the marginalized categories.
