I remember this meme:
"Homophobia? Oh, you mean the normal natural view on human sexuality!"
I think that quote says it all... Some people are very extremely narrow minded when it comes to sexuality. But for me... love is love.... Yes, I am straight and I am a guy so only a woman can do for me, but if you are a guy and only a guy can do for you, who am I to say it's wrong? I only ask one thing... Should you fall in love with me and you are not a woman, then you'll have to accept that I can not return your affections. But if you already have a boy-friend or even a husband, hey, you're the one he has to make happy and he's the one you must make happy, not me... But the same goes if you have girl-friend/wife whom I deem downright ugly with a rotten personality, is it then up to me to tell you you gotta look for a different woman? And of course when I got to speak to the women, if you are lesbian and I'd fall in love with you, I will have in turn to accept I cannot win your heart.
Let's not claim there isn't a "campaign against trans/homo/whatever" people... We can all stick our heads in the sand, but nobody got better from that. It's there... I don't mind actual humor... Humor is always a good way to let things go, even about delicate themes such a sexuality... But when humor clearly becomes a homophobic statement, then we may have a different way to go... And unfortunately the latter does exist... don't deny it.
