This National Guard stuff is actually misused to fool people into thinking they somehow don't have an individual right to bear arms under the 2nd Amendment.

That is completely dishonest, and people should see through and not be fooled by it. See my meme here. The militia is all legal-for-arms CITIZENS.

Yeah, it gets confusing though, because technically you as the militia were intended to be what they kind of used the Guard - indirectly - to supplant. Which is why I thought it needed extra clarification. It's sadly not that hard to hoodwink people at large.
