You can die for the country but don't you dare smoke! (Nanny-State law tucked into the $1.4 trillion federal spending bill)

You can die for the country but don't you dare smoke! (Nanny-State law tucked into the $1.4 trillion federal spending bill) | Son, at 18 you'll be big enough to leave home and strike out on your own. You will be mature enough at 18 to get your driver's license. At 18 you'll have learned enough about life to contribute your conscientious vote at the ballot box. And at 18 you'll be mature enough to sacrifice life or limbs in service to your country. So I can decide at 18 if I want to try a cigarette? Yeah, but then again, just because an old lady smokes and lives to an old age doesn't mean everyone can.

Sadly very true. My Nana died in her 80's from lung cancer, never having smoked a day in her life :(

Now my birth mother's cousin who lived to 104, that was a very different story.
