Did he? The primary difference between Biden and Trump's cases is one of personal interest. It is claimed that both acted under their proper authority and with the best interest of the country. The difference is that Biden's visit was completely authorized by the United States government.

The problem with Shokin, the prosecutor who was fired, wasn't that he was too hard on all the open cases of corruption but that he had been too lax. In fact, the deputy prosecutor who took his place claimed there had been zero pressure by the US government to even close the Burisma case after Biden had pressured Shokin to be fired. A claim backed up by the previous President of Ukraine.

It is entirely possible that Trump saw the opportunity to attack Biden's corruption. However, there is no mention corruption in the transcript, nor any interest to investigate it. Just Biden and his son. So when you put all the facts together, it becomes clear that Trump had no interest in weeding out corruption when he abused his power, but to use it for personal gain just as he erroneously claims Biden did.

The whole sham has been busted wide open. Clinton Foundation pay for play and rigging of DNC and uranium sales, Obama admin using government resources to spy on opposing campaign, FBI defrauding FISA court and "insurance policy" of its coup attempting officials, their payment of Crowdstrike to fabricate Steele Dossier as oppo research and force it through govt channels (Brennen, McCain), overthrowing elected govt of Ukriane to install puppet and commence money laundering operation and kickbacks of US government funds and sweet gig for Biden's kid. Involvement of Ukriane, UK, Australia, Italy (Mifsud) in meddling in US presidential election (Russiagate).
