You assumed it was about race maybe it was about stereotyping people in general and you were just guilty. It never even mentioned race but you ran with it. I think you have racist guilt. Go to confession and say 100 hail mary prayers. All good.

It is hard to find in reality. You have to search long and hard to find it. In fact in my entire lifetime living in all parts of the US and overseas as a minority the US was by far the least racist. I probably only seen about ten racists here in the US and most were old black men calling everyone crackers.

I think racism can be a lot more subtle and ingrained in institutions and such even if people aren’t literally using hate words. But I agree America is a lot better than many other places around the world for minorities.
