I disagree. My situation has always been better under Republican administrations over Democratic ones. A sturdy and healthy economy has always yielded more benefit(s) than being handed totally free stuff that I did not pay for or earn in any way.
I used to believe an occasional Democratic administration was ok in order to keep the system more balanced and honest. But, today, the Democratic Party has shifted too far left and even wants to change the Bill of Rights which the government has no power to do. At this point, I would hope the Libertarian Party would supersede the Democratic Party. But then, that would make it very hard for me to choose in future elections.
