Someone who has made past donations to the Clinton Foundation was charged with campaign finance violations unrelated to the Clinton Foundation or campaign, the right wing media immediately mand an unwarranted connection in headlines. Regardless of how any of us feels about "the other guys," the facts are the facts. One foundation has ademonstrable record of doing good deeds. It has been investigated as no other foundation has never been. It has not been the focus of indictments and legal charges against its figureheads. The other was nothing less than a vehicle for a criminal enterprise, and shut down. Its principals must get the court's approval to take part in any charity activity.

I get a kick out of the over-reaction that the kneejerk response to any criticism of Trump produces. When people actually defend his activities related to the Trump Foundation, it is clear that he knew what he was doing when he demanded an investigation by Ukraine. In his propaganda machine, an unfounded allegation becomes the "factoid" that launched a thousand blogs. Years after being cleared of a long list of false charges, they are dredged up.

Yeah, I don't see any headlines proving otherwise, they have bin investigated, they have not bin shut down nor have they bin fined. So what the problem is?

I was a member of a group of Federal Executives in LA that included the Director of the local office of the FBI, for a few years. I came to know him and through him got a glimpse into his agency. He was conservative, while I was liberal. He was deeply religious, while I was an atheist. Over time, like all people who work together, we talked about ourselves and each other. He told me that most FBI agents he knew were moderate to conservative and had some sort of religious orientation. But, he said he trusted his life and reputation to each and every one of them. He said the Agency had the best investigative minds in the country. They learned to put aside personal feelings and orientations to do a professional job every minute of every day they worked. This bolstered the respect I had developed for law enforcement personnel while sitting next to LAPD Officers in our LA Dosgers season seats. I wonder what exactly went wrong in the lives of people who buy into impossible conspiracy theories which proclaim that people who disagree with them must be corrupt, even after overly excessive investigations by professionals conclude otherwise.

I'm sure most FBI agents aren't happy with the politicization going on with those at the top.

She is not corrupt, because it has not ben found to be so in a court of law. He has been sued and settled out of court charges of illegal business practices, discrimination in housing, fraud and a long list of other offenses. He is corrupt, because the District Attorney of New York presented evidence that convinced the State Court of New York dissolve his charity. That evidence showed that he used his charity for many years as his own ATM and for his own benefit. Abuse of Power. The evidence that he was the kingpin in the violation of Election Law, in paying Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about their affair, with hard copies of the checks he wrote to her has not been presented to Grand Jury to support charges against him, because he is president. Similarly, even though Robert Mueller followed Justice Department policy in not identifying an uncharged individual with specific crimes, he went to the rare extent of reporting he could not say the president did not commit crimes uncovered by his investigation.
