Democrats are looking for the best chance of beating Trump. Harris isn't dumb - she knows this. She didn't have the funds to run against people like Bloomberg. The so-called "black vote" is theoretically leaning toward Biden because of his connection to Obama. But at the end of the day, people don't have faith that the country is ready to vote for a woman of color for a president.

She made a lot of enemies of voters when she was DA and AG. Gabbard tried to touch on it during the debates. But if you talk to Democrats from Northern California, a lot of them can't stand Kamala. She dropped out of a democratic primary...cause she couldn't win. You brought up her race. The country has already shown that race isn't a barrier to presidency, and Michelle Obama polls higher than most Democrats. Polls are showing right now that Democrats are more concerned with getting the best candidate to beat Trump and right now it looks like that's Biden. Even Trump thinks so which is why he tried to extort Ukraine into helping him dig up dirt on Biden's son. You didn't see him going after Harris. I still stand by my statement that at least half the country is racist AF and unless she was freaking amazing (which Harris is not), surmounting the two immense obstacles of being female *and* being a woman of color would be virtually impossible right now.
