I don't need to research it, because they're 40 years away and 5 trillion dollars per state cost. After initial build cost, hydro is cheapest, nuclear is next, coal next, natural gas next, wind next, and solar last. Wind and solar are respectively twice and five times more costly than coal (even with their federal subsidies). Are you going to not only pay that much for your own power, but donate most of your pay to help the poor pay for theirs?

I'm gonna guess that you work in the coal industry, not the power production & management industry.

Because if you did work in power, you'd know about load balancing and that we have 3 distinct power grids that routinely transfer power between areas.

I know that the costs of renewables will triple the cost of power to the poor, so how does one help the poor by making them sit in the cold and dark?
