Did you read it? If so, how much have you read?

A lot of it, not all. Gave up the several times I tried because it was not very coherent.

The first five books of the New Testament are the high point. I have no problem with practical instruction based on the teachings of Jesus. But a lot of the Old Testament is garbage and Revelations is a fever-dream.

Garbage in terms of coherence and understandability? Could you please give me an example?

Garbage in terms of stories that don’t make a lot of sense and providing endless lists of proscriptive rules that have little no no bearing on modern society

Examples: Entire books of Leviticus and Deuteronomy. In one of my attempts at the Bible, I had to give up shortly after that slog.

In relations to the rules, 'it is what it is';;l and though it isn't to you relative for today, it is for them. and it doesn't make it anymore "Garbage" than the laws today. Just imagine what our laws would be to those living a century or so later.

As for the stories, please give me one example of a story you find rubbish?

The use of the word, "Nature", refers to human biology that is designed not for homosexual intercourse but heterosexual intercourse (Romans 1:25-26). Thus, the example used to counter the argument is really Apples and Oranges.
