Anyone venture out into the craziness? I'm wondering if this is just an American thing?

I don't think people are that crazy about it here but I'll still be happily staying in the comfort of my home. It's honestly embarrassing to see how some people act. If I wanted to see animals I'd go to the zoo.

I agree. It's insane and gets worse every year. Some stores start the sales on Thanksgiving so now families are rushing through a meal that should be about being thankful for what they have. Makes me sad.

Them deals tho. We bought quite a few Xmas gifts online, mostly yesterday since those deals are starting on Thanksgiving Day too.

Thanks! Upvoted yours too. And online shopping is where its at. Why walk your feet off looking for items you might never find, stand in long lines and brave the weather when you can do it all in ten minutes from your phone and have it delivered in a day or two? I love it. And now groceries are going that route :)

We have black friday, but literally no one does it. Sometimes I just so happen to stroll into a store whithout me realizing its black friday, and the store is empty. Completly empty. Maybe its because where I live has such a small population?

Lol. Seen some insane stampedes on TV but I wouldn’t venture out into it. Businesses have used it as a means to sell off a load of unwanted stock and they aren’t such great deals in the grand scheme of things.

It lasts the whole weekend here, and it’s not just at the stores but in the roads too.
