It is nice to be able to create a community about something you care about and watch it grow into something big, you gotta admit.

It is, I've experienced that with the Thick tank. But I think that goes for streams that target a specific audience or have a unique goal in mind. I think some people just start streams for the heck of it with no real goal in mind and they don't get much activity.

It's like everything else in life. You gotta put in the work to get it running. If you don't, it's not going to get any traction

Indeed, it took a couple months of love 3 of us posting regularly and contributing to discussions (Thanks Lord Cheesus, Sydney B TimidDeer) for the Thicc Tank to take off just a few months ago there were only 40 members now it's over 100. So it does take work on the part of the followers

Lol. Thank you for this. I was highkey feeling pressured by 09PandaBoy in the other thread re: SexStream. I mean I appreciate the offer and the support, but I simply do not need it now.

I also want to retain some control over the content since sex is a sensitive subject, and I have some quite specific and nuanced viewpoints about it.

I did get my first meme submission from someone other than myself today, which was cool. imgflip.com/i/3hm8of I almost rejected it for being borderline incel/s**t-shaming but ultimately allowed it since I thought it was tongue-in-cheek. I want to be the one to make those calls, at least for now.

I might submit something. I'm all about positively discussing sex. I think it's a good sister stream to the Think Tank.

Yes, I'm very cautious who I allow to MOD so don't feel pressured. Most of the ones asking to be one are young kids who just like seeing MOD after their name without fully understanding what it entails. I usually track users activity here, what sort of things they post and how well they interact with others before I make them MOD.

As your stream grows you may need to clarify the rules and aim of the stream since it is indeed a sensitive subject which could easily go the wrong direction. You may also need to set submission limits. I'm not going to lie, trolls will come. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders so I'm sure the stream will do well.

Thank you, thank you! As a newbie to ImgFlip, I appreciate all your tips and I’ll be sure to ask for guidance if I need it. 10 Followers in just a few days does bode well for the stream. I do expect it to grow and grow, due to the universal appeal of sex. But the stream’s strong political and anti-incel messages, coupled with the fact that I post in the politics stream (where I’ve seen some horrifying content), lead me to expect that the toxic crowd will filter in sooner or later and try to spoil the party. I hope to god that doesn’t happen since I’m having such a blast with it right now but I’ll be prepared.
