I am sure Samson did not fear Delilah. But her cunning and betrayal undid Samson’s strength.

The concern is these females may make socialism seem palatable like the ancient story of Eve tempting Adam with an apple in the Garden.

I also dislike Bernie Sander’s Socialism, but I believe he has more of a challenge to gain traction and go anywhere beyond promising everything free to the young or very poor.

Lastly, I’m afraid of anyone wanting to have more power, more regulations, and bigger government. The government is supposed to be weak and barely functioning not all encompassing. Individuals are free to live as they choose as long as they don’t harm others. If they do, we have due process(es) to take care of it. You can see all this in our Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and the Federalist / Anti-Federalist Papers.

Note that I referenced both Federalist and Anti-Federalist. In any event, our first system, Articles of Confederation was considered a little too weak and eventually the Constitution was ratified. Only limited and specific powers yielded by the people to the government. Individual rights are paramount to all else. We area Republic and not a pure democracy (majority can not override individual rights). We also have separation of powers in branches of government and with the Senate and House of Reps to deter tyranny.

Altogether a complex but interesting design showing the individual right and freedoms are to remain paramount and untouchable.

I don’t want them to victimize America. I served six years to guard our freedoms and way of life from Communists and “Democratic” Socialist. I swore an oath to uphold the Constitution and defend it against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.

Socialism will severely damage the United States in the long run. For a year or two it will seem ok. Once the finances and economic production is run into the ground it will be horrible. I have even worked with people from former Soviet Bloc countries and it’s sad what they went through.

Thanks for letting me know. Thanks also for recognizing my service, I normally wouldn’t mention it excepting for their snowflake remark as I am quite serious about socialism or communism and only mentioned I volunteered a few years of my life to guard against it as proof.
