Yeah, this may be fake, and the guy may not even exist, but it's irrelevant.
What is true, is the fact that when this reaches Senate, Trumps legal team will be able to call any one up onto the witness stand and question them under oath. This would include Schiff and the whistleblower whom I don't see on that list.
Dems definitely don't want that, and wont allow it to get to that. Their only hope is that this circus affects public opinion on this issue enough to shifts some vote away from Trump in 2020.
