I wonder why you spend so much time reading me on this thread - and on other threads - if you consider me an "arrogant and pretentious c**t."
Do you always waste your time on meaningless drivel?
I'm aware you may be a Charles Bukowski "genius" but you haven't exhibited anything worth reading which makes me think you don't know much more than "your run of the mill troll."
It's just a working hypothesis.
Prove me wrong.
As for my data set, it's bigger than you can imagine.
BTW...
When Hillary said that about half of Trump supporters were deplorable, Trump's approval rating was 42%.
By doing the math, we find that Hillary considered about 20% of the electorate was deplorable.
This is a reasonably accurate number.
What makes "the deplorables" deplorable is the position they occupy in Orwell's worldview.

You may think Orwell is, in effect, admiring Trumpistas' noble resistance to Deep State lies.
He's not.
Orwell is talking about conservatives' blind adherence to nonsense because they don't know how to think in terms of principle, just "petty, specific grievances" - relative trivialities like Hillary, Benghazi, and the Mueller witch hunt.
It doesn't even occur to 45's cult followers that if Trump-and-Barr are telling the truth, Mueller EXONERATED The Relentless Liar. How do you square that circle?
For a year and a half, Trump says Mueller is conducting a witch hunt to "get" him.
And then, he EXONERATES him.
"Football, beer, and gambling filled up the horizon of their minds. To keep them in control was not difficult…. All that was required of them was a primitive patriotism which could be appealed to whenever it was necessary to make them accept longer working hours or shorter rations. And when they became discontented, as they sometimes did, their discontentment led nowhere, because being without general ideas, they could only focus it on petty specific grievances.” George Orwell's "1984"
