I would be all for gun control, IF... anyone could show me how ANY of the new proposed gun control laws (on top of the many we already have) could have prevented any of these tragic shootings.

Without such proof, all I see in the proposed gun control laws is that the govt that cannot protect me, wants to take away my ability to do so on my own.

In fact, the few times these shootings have been stopped with minimal amount of loss of life, is when somebody who was being shot at, shot back.

Why are the cities with the most gun control laws, the cities in which a person is most likely to be the victim of gun violence?
