we can disagree with omar's politics.
that is totally fair game.
we can point to her "hypnotized" tweet and say with some confidence that was a bit anti-Semitic.to which she apologized,and rightly so.
but when she points to one of the the most powerful lobbies in the world and makes a fairly obvious statement that AIPAC and the like wield far too much influence over of legislative bodies.which is a provable observation,and in a sane world would be non-controversial,she is attacked as an anti-Semite.

you don't find it curious that the isreali lobby and a number of congress tried to paint omar as an anti-Semite because she was muslim,yet conveniently ignored omar's far more aggressive denouncing of Saudi arabia?
I guess my point is simply that the drama was fabricated political theater.
and that the tactics are effective.
