Mine are as follows-
1950's Elvis, Chuck Berry and Little Richard (he kinda , sorta found Jimi)
1960's Beatles, Stones, Jimi Hendrix
1970's Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Clapton
there are numerous honorable mentions, too many to count
Thought about listing Elvis, he is the king after all. My other pick for the 70's would have been Aerosmith but you said top three and I already put an extra in there as a tie :)
Boston hit in 79 and still is a great album. Pink Floyd’s entire collection is truly influential. While the Stones and The Who had strong influence in their day with Zeppelin, super groups like Traffic and Cream define the era more.
Personally Little Feat is important to me, but I cannot say if they influenced others, but The Black Crows seem like they were.
You left out the 40’s with Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman. A lot of the modern swing I listen to definitely was influenced by them.
1950's: Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, and Jerry Lee Louis
1960's: Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, and Rolling Stones
1970's: Clapton (Allman Bros are a close tie here), Bob Seger, and Lynyrd Skynyrd
Skynyrds my fav band , along with the doors and 10 other bands but I was going for more influences, I was considering Sabbath too because they influenced the whole metal thing
Check this out, This lady is on a Harley mid 30's. I am 99% sure its Duane and Greg allmans mom, she was a model and rider for Harley Davidson b4 she was married
Skynyrd and the Allmans are the kings of southren rock, which kinda is the father of todays country (which i hate lol) but the old stuff is the very best
Yeah, today's country sucks. You're right on them being the best. One of my favorites is Marshall Tucker Band, there's a special place in my heart for them as they originate from my hometown. Helps that their music is awesome too. Blackfoot and Molly Hatchet are good too.
I've seen them twice, they've fallen off a good bit but the concerts were still pretty good. They opened as a surprise for a Charlie Daniels show I went to once, they just happened to be in town and offered to open for him since they go back a long time. Everybody in the auditorium lost it when they found out, including me! Before then we were all expecting a local band to open for them, which they did but only a couple of songs. Then MT came out and pretty much played a whole concert before Charlie ever even came on stage. It was great.
do u have axs tv network? its awesome, dan rather had a new 1 hr interview with charlie Daniels this yr, Gary Rossington Ricky medlok, and Johnnny VZ last year.

50's, I'm not that much familiar with, so I'll only mention Elvis Presley and Chuck Berry
60's: The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix Experience and Pink Floyd
70's: Black Sabbath, Rainbow and Motörhead
