Yes! The spicy chicken is the best fast food chicken sandwich in America.

You must live in an area not overrun by thugs and pieces of trash who will literally assault you or slam their car into yours to cut in line, just so they can get a spicy chicken sandwich...you're also lucky to get what you ordered anytime you go to a Popeye's. All the Popeye's locations around me run out of spicy at lunchtime. If you order it after they run out, they say nothing and simply give you original. I'm not sure who is worse, the customers or the employees. Worst-run franchise in America! But, oh so tasty! Red beans and rice and 6-pieces spicy chicken is where it's at!!! And the butter biscuits!

I was in the hood, but I didn’t have any problem. I just waited there with everyone else. Though, this particular Popeyes is excellent. Seriously. Its the best place to eat around here. Its clean, the staff is good and they get the orders right.

I wish to God that a Popeye's like that opens up near me. I love that sh1t. I used to work by one and would brave the harsh treatment by staff, and frequently incorrect orders, just to get me some red beans'n'rice. Every now and then, I'd get exactly what I ordered and knew it was my day to play the lotto. I bought a $20 scratch-off one of those great accurate-order-Popeye's-days, and lo and behold, I won me $50K. How do you like dem apples?

Crazy. But I haven’t heard a story like that in years. A few years ago the Popeyes company was sold or transferred to new management. After the new management took over, they drastically improved everything. Since then, I’ve never seen a bad Popeyes. Speaking of apples—Popeyes has the best apple pie, too.

Huh, never had their apple pie. I do not like sweets, though. The Popeye's near me are still awful. There was actually just a huge brawl at one and it made national news. What a disgrace to the human race some people are!

That’s messed up, the ones around here are good. But go back 10+ years ago and they were all HORRIBLE! I think they really turned the whole company around.
