How Should We Explain the Trinity?

Some non-Christians believe it actually represents three Gods, which of course it does not.

It's all the same essence of God revealed in three ways; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The math is not: 1 + 1 + 1 = 3

Instead, it is: 1 x 1 x 1 = 1
Or said another way, it's like the different states of water.
When left alone, water is a liquid, frozen it becomes a solid, and heated it turns into a vapor.

Not all of them. I'm a proponent of positive reinforcement. I still would not call this a meme exactly, but they're improving. Of all the religious bile used to justify hatred on this site, this is relatively decent in it's message. I'd rather see a hundred of these than... "God is burning California because he hates F*gs!"

Fair point. I still find it super trite but I can't fault your logic.

I've heard of the triangle analogy, the water analogy, the shamrock analogy, but the math one is new to me. Awesome!

Very nice. I like the 1x1x1 thought. Nicely done.
