At least I am at heart...I can go an entire weekend without talking to anyone and I'd be fine with that, and never get bored. But, my job and other aspects of my life require me to be extroverted on a daily basis, so I can at least act the part if I have to.

Hmmm, when around people with bad vibes or braggarts, I can be pretty introverted but when around cool people I'm fairly extroverted.

I hate socializing, but I'm very social, I guess because I have to be. But I would rather be by myself. I wish someone would explain that to the 4 children following me around all day. They keep calling me Mom for some reason. ;)

I know you couldn't bear the thought of sticking around to raise the quadruplets after our one night stand at the very least you could send a check once in awhile :p

Interesting nugget of adoption info for my adoption friend here on the flip...Texas is one of the hardest states to adopt in (strangely enough) and have a 9 month return policy no questions asked if the birthmother wants to go backsies. Imagine one of your 4, living with you and bonding for 9 months, and someone comes and takes them away due to a sudden change of heart that doesn't even need to be justified in some cases. It's the only state in the union that the agency we went through doesnt operate in for that and several other reasons.

that is interesting especially since they have such strict abortion laws. Seems counterproductive I can't imagine fearing for the first 9 months that my child would be taken from me:(

Oh man that's harsh, although her recollection of that night isn't as vivid as yours. Probably traumatized her and she's trying her best to forget it

With the right people I would be more extroverted but for the most part I'm quite content in my own company. I have social anxiety so interacting with other people can be draining on me.

How are you defining introversion and extroversion ? I ask because I think, the terms are often mischaracterized by pop culture.
